The Last Date!!!!

She knew this was the last time they were meeting and wanted to be nice, and honest.

They sat in the same place they often used to sit, bang in the middle of a crowded café overlooking the concourse. In the midst of the crowd, they had always managed to find their solitude, their voices, and their stories as if they were protected by the eiderdown. She wanted the last time to be like the first meeting and the many in-betweens.



“So, I am getting married” she started, suddenly remembering this is not how she wanted to start nor could she explain why she felt the sudden throbbing pain inside. He just looked at her, held her eyes for sometime and looked away. Then he stirred his coffee very slowly, as if his life depended on that steady action and replied,” If that is what you want.” She wanted to scream, pounce on him and strangle him and die with him that moment but continued the balderdash about how nice the man she was about to marry was, and how much in love they were. He listened quietly, observing how her cheeks turned crimson red and how her eyes were so wonderful tonight, all animated with a tear threatening to fall, something that made him feel like crushing her is his arms. He began to smoke leaving the coffee un-sipped.

Having nothing else to say or hear, she stood up saying, he needn’t see her off.



Walking through the boulevard, she suddenly remembered a time when they had walked leisurely after leaving the coffee house, sharing peanuts from a cone and singing a duet. She had laughed saying, ‘If people were to hear only our voices, they’d certainly think two guys are singing.’ To which, he had replied,’oh, let me check then if I am walking with a guy or a girl’. She kicked him and ran; with him running right behind her, laughing.



Collecting herself, she hastened her steps and coughed away her tears. He stood at a distance, perhaps thinking the same thoughts, smoking.

Me Myself and Manish [A journey of Life & A journey for life]

Let me introduce me first!!

Hi … I am HAPAT,(Always out of mind) PC and many more names…these names are frequently used by some of my friends except one. I am 26 yrs old and a software Engineer by profession. A fun loving, chatter-box, always living in the present and never thinks about the past or future. I always do whatever I want to, listen to nobody just want to live life in my own way…

This is me…

Now …myself…Vivek Singh A keen , silent, sensible person and am always thinking about my damn bloody future and have strong opinions.

I did my graduation from AGRA UNIV. Manish and I were in same college but in different branches of Engineering. I was sure that we will not be placed from the college but we are born intellegent ;P We were well aware of our goals.

for the duration in which we were in college we only know each other by our names…We hardly met…but nobody knew what tommorow held.

Manish and I, we have been together for the past 9 years, more importantly, the past 6 yrs.We have discovered so many things about each other which helped us to carry our relationship and friendship forward.The best part of this relation ship is that we understand each other very well and we have had no arguements at all for anything in these six years.

In the past six years we have seen almost all the phases that GOD has made for life, may be more than that in the very early stages of our friendship or you can say "life". We struggled, we fought but we never gave up becoz we were together.

I have learnt a lot from this dignified, mature and humorous guy. He taught me to live and survive in this world.

He is the channel through whom great emotional, spiritual and sometimes even physical blessings flow.He cheered me up when I was sorrowful or depressed.He realized my orginal limits with encouragement when I did not allow myself to go beyond our reasonable boundaries. He motivated me when I was ready to give up. He was always there when I wanted someone with whom to share life’s pleasant and memorable moments. We often just want them around, to have a good time, to laugh, to act silly, to enjoy some mutually liked activity.

Okies …now I have a question….?

In how many ways have friends enriched our lives and made us feel loved, accepted, respected and cared for?

Probably, too many to list, and the list grows daily. Right…?

In his dictionary there is no word named “sorrow”.He was always by my side when I needed support.

He always motivated me to attain my goals.

I must say ” I am blessed with a friend “.

The older I get, the more I think that we discover each other. Then if we’re lucky, pay attention, stay faithful, and don’t mess up, we have a friend for life.

Building close friendships is a worthwhile endeavor. Everyone wants to have at least a couple of close friends. One of the most important skills for establishing close friendships is “conflict management” !!!

I can speak forever about friendship and friends. You may have a lot of friends but to find a friend who is loyal and trustworthy and be like that to your friend also is the only meaning of friendship. “BE LOYAL AND TRUSTWORTHY”.

Life and commitment

Every living creature wants to be happy; whether it is money, power or honey.

We get into it only for the sake of happiness. Some people enjoy misery because it gives them happiness. To be happy we seek something, but inspite of getting that, we are not happy. Why???

All of ones life is spent in preparing to be happy some day in future.

Its like making a bed all night but having no time to sleep….

Okies…I have one question???.

How many minutes? hours and days spent in ours being happy from within? Those are only moments we have really lived our life.

There are two ways of looking at life:

One is of thinking that “I will be happy after achieving a certain objective”

The 2^nd is ” I am happy come whatever it may be”

Which one do you want to live; The selection of choices is all up to you.

Our life needs a direction to flow, without a direction it is all confusion.

For life to move in a direction, we need some commitments as well bcoz life runs on commitment. Every thing in our life either small or big, comes with certain commitment whether it is love or business or friendship or at work or any other area of live you take there is commitment. You cannot stand someone who doesn?t commit.

How much commitment has you taken in your life? ? “SOCH”

You are what you believe!!!!!!!!!!

The most important quality you can ever develop is having belief in yourself. The belief is that you can without a shadow of doubt achieve a success in every area of life.

Virtually every person has the capability to do wonderful things with his/her life, but greatest single obstacle for most people is self doubt.

Many people wish that they can accomplish certain things in life but lack of belief that they cant actually do it.

When people under achieve in any part of their life, it is their belief more than anything that holds him back.

Self limiting beliefs act as a break on our ability to achieve our goals.

Many of us have high hopes dreams and aspirations as well but we let doubt creeps in, undermine our talents, ability and effectiveness.

Each one of us has inferiority bcoz we feel we are not good enough as other people and we feel that we are not good enough to acquire and enjoy things we want in our life. Often we feel that we dont deserve good things even if we work hard and have some achievements in our life. We often feel that we are not really entitled to our success .

My Law of belief says that “Whatever we believe with our feelings becomes the reality”.

We dont believe what we see; instead we see what we believe.

”Soch”?

Let me not get into exceptions. Let me just tell you a story, straight and simple.
We love women and we just can’t do without you. We can’t imagine a world without you; a world without your beauty, your elegance, your tenderness, your tears and laughter. I would never have learnt how to say ‘I love you’ with so much conviction, honesty and hope, if you were not there. I would have never seen how a bouquet is made if I hadn’t bought those flowers for you. I would have never ever known that feeling when you were in my arms, when I caress your hair or when you wet my shirt with your tears. You are just precious.But sometimes I just can’t help but feel, do you women feel the same for us guys? From my friend, ?MT?s experiences and mine,

it’s the guys who have to be on their toes to keep the romance alive. We are the ones who should say something interesting and funny all the time, we are the ones who should buy the flowers and gifts and we are the ones who should call regularly.If you are moody, you can ignore our sms and calls, and we’ll understand that you’re in one of your moods. If we ever dothat, we better have some very very good answers ready. We can be busy, or we can be in a bad mood just like every human being regardless of gender, but you will not understand that or you just won’t care.

We dream our little personal dreams and you are always there. For most of us, our dreams aren’t complete without you

and we chase you, the same way we chase everything in our dreams. I’m sure you all dream too and I’m sure we guys are there in your dreams. So for a change, what about pursuing everything in your dreams?

For once, why don’t you chase us, woo us, romance us? 

For once, why don’t you ask us out? 

For once, why don’t you come up to us and say ‘I love you’? 

How long will you wait for the guy to make the first move? 

I wonder how you can keep it inside and wait, when you really really like a guy. Ever thought of the possibility that the guy can move on? What then? Will you shrug it off or will you regret it for a lifetime? Regret, coz you never gave it a chance. Regret, coz these feelings are all you’ll have, to give you company on cold solitary nights.

We are humans after all, we fall in and out of love, and we make mistakes. We don’t have PMS but we have our mood swings too.

We are guys not Gods. Observe carefully, the ‘g’ in guys and the ‘G’ in Gods. We are much much smaller.
